Sverd Class Missile Cruiser

WORK IN PROGRESS. The Sverd Class Missile Cruiser is my latest project and is inspired by and a bit of homage to Scifiwarship from the Sketchup Warehouse. This guy is a ship building god and has inspired me to do much better and more detail work. The ship itself is a light missile carrier with 2 retractable missile boxes in the forward arms each carrying 3 rotary launches holding 6 antiship missiles for a total of 36 weapons. The large surface turrets are just place holders and will be redesigned and maybe reduced in number, The 2 smaller types are quad plasma guns for lateral defence and octuple rapid fire cannons for anti fighter work. When finished it'll have a hanger with fighters running through the centre side to side from the big recess and a much better shaped central bridge structure, oh and of course Norwegian Flag markings.
